Our Approach

Cultural Context

We value culture as a place where we are restoring humanity and bringing flourishing to all of culture.

A Liberated Model

We value a model free from the outward branding and language for the sake of engaging a broader and more diverse audience of catalysts.

Like-Minded Values

We value the fellowship and community of like-minded, value-oriented leaders who engage the culture for thoughtful dialogue, learning and processing our experiences and plans, and growing creatively together.

Holistic Approach

Measure of Growth

We value seeing people through who they are and not for what they do.  As we see people holistically (head, heart, hands), we desire to find ways to honor them by restoring their humanness and flourishing.

We value spurring people on toward deeper community, humanity and imagination so that they, in turn, begin to impact the culture and people around them.

We value collaboration as a means of growth in our own lives, as we relinquish control, practice vulnerability and are moved to encourage others to flourish, as well as for the sake of modeling these things to those around us,  achieving together something greater then ourselves.

We value having a wide range of experiences and a variety of people at the table, which challenges us toward compassion, empathy, listening well, and being unified yet diverse in the fullness and complexity of each individual's uniqueness and beauty and our common humanness.

We value keeping in balance all the facets of humanity and using approaches which catalyze heart, head and hands as much as possible making all things new.

We value a measure of growth that may be quite different from the world's measure, valuing people over projects. We value the growth of the individual over the success of a project.

Our Team

Boxes are so confining and I’ve often felt that there’s not one in which I’ve felt that I fit. Through discussions with friends, I’ve realized I am not alone and it was through those conversations that Cultural Renewal was founded. It is a place that desires not to put people into boxes but instead allows others to explore and grow.

With a degree in Psychology and Communications, I have experience working in the art, business, and social sectors. Being someone with many different interests in various areas of culture, I would describe myself as a cultural curator.

I have a passion to see not only all of culture holistically but also each individual holistically, in all of their diversity by engaging, creating, and inspiring one another in community towards personal and cultural renewal!

Our Clients

My perspective changed slightly on everything we discussed - beauty, identity, community, and shalom.
I was challenged and stretched, but also really encouraged by the new perspectives offered.
— Angie, Berlin
This was my second time going through the materials Christopher developed over many years, and I have benefitted greatly both times. The content, conversations, questions, discussions, and activities, were lively and evocative. I saw connection and community being built through our times together.
